Made in America

Coin Displays

All of our products are hand-made out of natural woods from around the world.

Made in America does not roll off our tongues like it used to. With so many products today made overseas, competing for the piece of pie is very difficult.

The movement for more “Made in America” products is making a comeback though. There are several companies out there creating buzz such as Made in America Store and The Made in America Movement. We at Coin Displays are doing our part by making all of our displays in sunny Miami, Florida. We take pride in letting our customers know that our displays are hand made in the USA. Be a part of this movement by educating yourself where products are made and supporting all of our business here in the United States.

Proud to be Made in America, we thank you for your continued support. Take a look at our Coin Displays product video to get a glimpse of just how much better is to buy American-made.

Coining the Tradition of Challenge Coins

Challenge Coins Coining the tradition with Coins for Anything and Coin Displays

The origin of challenge coins dates back to World War I when an American was shot down behind enemy lines. Stripped of all his belongings except his small leather pouch containing a coin, the pilot was held captive by the Germans in a small French town. One night during some heavy fighting, he managed to escape avoiding the Germans and reached a French outpost. With no identification, the insignia on the coin was recognized by the French saving this young pilot’s life.

There are many who keep this tradition going providing custom coins for our military however one has gone above and beyond. While stationed at Camp Lejeune, Jeff Morin witnessed the effect a challenge coin can make on someone. Determined to recreate this affect, he started Coins for Anything, Inc. in 2002 with the goal to provide the finest quality custom-made challenge coins in the industry.

Their focus is on military challenge coins, however, Coins for Anything knew the applications were limitless. Quickly spreading beyond the military, they have produced coins for corporations such as rewards for outstanding service, employee recognition, company business cards, gifts cards and loyalty discounts. Having a baby? Getting married? The traditional tins with chocolates or pink and blue candy covered almonds are favors of the past. Coins commemorating these moments create a unique keepsake everyone will treasure and remember for generations to come.

The Making of Challenge Coins and its History

Coin Displays

Traditionally, challenge coins are used by the military as tools to build morale; as rewards for outstanding service and performance of duty. In recent years, they have become a way to show your loyalty and devotion anytime, anywhere. Their popularity has grown outside the military; within other organizations such as NASCAR, the Boy Scouts, Harley Davidson, World Series of Poker and many others. Police and fire departments have also taken on the tradition.
